Great product. Purchased two because I didn't want to locate which component was bad, so I replaced both. Located & removed old. Placed the new components in place. Restarted computer and followed prompts. Simple and easy.

I replaced the 4 GB of memory in my HP Pavillion a6700F with 8 GB of ram that recognized by my 64 bit Windows 7 OS. The items arrived very quickly and within minutes I had by old memory uninstalled and the new up and running.
Generic and OEM Mem mix, 8/23/2012

The shipped module installed, was recognised, and functional for the last two days. This was installed in a Compaq CQ5210f which was designed and built minimal in every way. With the now physicaly matching DDR2 DIMMs (2x2GB) it is for the first time functional in Dual Data Rate. Not an eye popping upgrade, but it certainly saves time by shaving a few seconds off of a days multitude of tasks and functions. $25.00 is a savings from the fear inspiring pricing at HP ($60.00). Shipping was convenient, Free, USPS 2 Day via First Class. If this continues to function it will be well worth the expense and effort to upgrade from OEM OOBE 3GB (2Gb+1GB) to 4GB (2x2GB) with the enhancement of Dual Data rate action.
