Worth the purchase, 9/21/2010

It's a little expensive for the amount of memory you are getting but worth it, at least in my case. It only increased my memory by 128M as my Sony only has one upgradeable memory slot and 128M built in that's not user replaceable. The memory slot had a 128M as well which I upgraded to this 256M module for a total of 384M. Weird amount but that's Sony. My laptop runs XP and it cut the boot up time almost in half. I have noticed programs run more smoothly which should buy me a little more time to use this computer which was my goal. I have not yet seen any compatabilty issues and the install was fairly easy.

Excellent advice to determine the suitable memory upgrade for a rather unusual Tough PC.

After 2 failed attempts with different manufacturer RAM chips for my Sharp laptop, this one did the trick. A few dollars more than the previous chips, but well worth the amount of time and aggravation you'll save. Highly recommend.
