I used a 2 GB SanDisk microSD card in an adapter then placed it inside this reader and it worked perfectly for a 2009 Honda CR-V.
The only problem is that it doesn't work at all with SDHC cards. I tried an 8 GB one from my phone and it would not read it. The card is a few months old.
Placing the 8 GB SDHC card inside an old (approximately 2 years old) MicroSD to SD Card adapter works perfectly with my built-in SD card reader on my laptop.
The product does exactly what it says and is a pretty good price though.

This adapter is being use in my 06 Honda Civic with pcmcia capability to listen to MP3 music and it worked and sound flawlessly ,a great product and reasonable price. very satisfied.

This adapter works as advertised, but please note that it is not compatible with SDHC cards. You are limited to 2 GB SD cards.

I SEARCHED THE WORLD OVER TO FIND THIS ITEM LOOKING IN BEST BUY, CURCUIT CITY, COMPUTERS STORES AND THE INTERNET AND THOUGH THAT THE CARD READER IN MY NEW HONDA CRV WAS GOING TO BE USELESS TO ME UNTIL I LOCATED IT ON THIS WEB SITE. I NOW HAVE OVER 300 SONGS ON A 2 GB SD CARD SO I CAN LISTEN TO HOURS OF MUSIC THROUGH MY PC CARD READER....THNKS OEMPCWORLD......
