By REFURBISH word; I assume the unit have been erased / cleaned from previous content. If so how time this have been done?

These cards arrive to us refurbished by the vendor. It varies from card to card so we can't give a precise number. These cards have been out of production for over 10 years so the only cards we are able to source in Sandisk are refurbished. Our house brand cards are still in production and are brand new as well as carry a lifetime warranty.

Warranty: All NEW Computer memory and Flash memory products carry a LIFETIME warranty through OEMPCWorld.com.
