Component Shortages Causing Prices to Rise, Lead Times to Increase

While chip supply is still good, other components like controller ICs are in allocation.  This is causing prices to go up in general, with lower-capacity cards seeing the most dramatic increase. You can read more about this here.

SDSDAA-008G is Now Obsolete

The SanDisk Edge SDSDAA series had a good, long run, but it looks like the 8GB card is finally at the end of the road.  If this is a model you still use, let me recommend some alternatives.

Depending on your specific requirements I can move you to another Commercial Grade solutions with a stable bill of materials or over to a Consumer Grade card if on-spec performance is your primary concern. We have been planning this change with most of our customers for a long time now, but if we still need to do some work please let me know.

There’s a New, Faster SanDisk Ultra SD Card, SDSDUN4

We told you last year about the changes to the SanDisk Ultra SD card lineup.  SDSDUNB and SDSDUNC models headed off into the sunset. Now there is an even faster model which was recently added to the lineup. SDSDUN4 Ultra SD cards offer speeds up to 120MB/s. We stock capacities from 32GB to 256GB.
